Beautiful office. Wonderful people. Excellent care. X ray machine. If I was looking for a new pediatrician, this is the first place I would look. What would have been a 4-8 hour ER visit to receive an xray was less than two hours. The care was delightful all around. It is so rare to find such wonderful, caring bedside manner. Also, this is a family business to boot.
We were a "walk-in" and were greeted immediately in a clean, new facility. We needed an exam, a test and documentation for school. All came through in a very short time. We had questions about ongoing patient care and three different doctors introduced themselves assuring us of their collaboration as a team. We had billing challenges and they worked with us. Can you believe it? Even my sick teenager was charmed.
This practice is fantastic! We went there for urgent care and were seen super quickly. Dr. Goo and the nurses were so friendly. They really took their time with us and were compassionate and caring. The office was great for kidsmy son was thrilled that there was a TV monitor in the exam room. We will definitely go back and would HIGHLY recommend CorrectMed.
The first thing to know is that I am a pediatric physician in Atlanta, so I know quality when I experience it. I took my daughter to Correctmed when she had an allergic reaction with hives all over her body. Dr. Goo saw her within minutes, and treated my daughter quickly. My daughter immediately improved and is doing great. Dr. Goo was compassionate, thorough and incredibly skilled. The copay was much less than an ER visit, and we were seen much faster. I highly recommend Correctmed. It is one of the best pediatric resources in Atlanta.
Dr. Doyle's bedside manner is exactly what I had hoped my daughters pediatrician would have. I'm grateful to have such a caring group for her care.
I took my son to the CorrectMed Urgent Care on the recommendation of a friend. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Goo has a wonderful bedside manner and the nurses and front desk staff are so friendly and attentive. I'm considering switching to Dr Goo for all of our pediatric needs.
I can't say enough great things about CorrectMed. Dr. Doyle has been stellar with my newborn (and being a first time mom, that's important!!). The office staff are super nice-you are treated like an individual who is important, the environment is kid-friendly and CLEAN, and the overall care given by the Doctors is exceptional.
Dr. Jessica Doyle at CorrectMed Pediatrics is a rare find these days. It is unusual to be treated by a doctor that offers such a wonderful bedside manner with the skills and pedigree any parent would want in their child's Pediatrician. So far Dr. Doyle has surpassed all expectations and I would highly recommend her to any new parents or families looking for a new practice. CorrectMed is a wonderful facility with great staff and easy access (no parking decks!). Do yourself and your kids and favor and give Dr. Doyle and CorrectMed a try.
This weekend my oldest came down with what I believed to be strep. A great opportunity for me to give it a try.
First of all, I LOVE having a pediatric urgent care in Decatur, so we took her in on a Sunday at 5 pm. So great to be able to get diagnosed and meds going before the Monday morning rush at regular peds (and missed work hours).
Don't let the somewhat shoddy exterior fool you -- this practice is a well-run, pleasant, lovely and thoughtfully arranged business on the inside. Dr. Goo greeted us as we walked in, and immediately came around to the waiting room to start establishing a rapport with the sick one while I was doing paperwork. He even grabbed the kit to do the rapid-swab right there in the waiting room where the space might be less intimidating to a kid, but my child is extremely fearful and anxious at the doctor's office - no dice. But I appreciated his efforts to get us handled quickly.
I have a pediatric nurse's nightmare for a kid, as mine bucks and kicks and screams --- this poor RN couldn't even get a temp under the arm. Needless to say, it took (3) staff and myself to restrain her and get a throat swab, but I somehow didn't have a nervous breakdown. I CREDIT THE STAFF. They were patient, tried many different methods to get it done while remaining calm, reassuring and pleasant with my poor, distraught 4 year old. I've seen my share of RNs lose their patience and I end up feeling much worse and, somehow, like a bad mom when I leave.
THANK YOU, CorrectMed, for the top-notch, professional staff and excellent care. Support this business, Decatur!!
I needed to add an update because this practice goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. I took my daughter there on Sunday afternoon b/c she was screaming and pulling on her ears. Sure enough...she has an ear infection. Dr. Goo and his staff did not tell me to "give her pain medication when you get home and fill the prescription." They actually administered numbing drops in her ears while we were at the office and when that did not help after a few minutes, they gave her a pain medicine to ease her pain...while we were still there. I did not have to leave with a screaming child and try to rush home to give her pain meds.
Thank You!!
My child was complaining of a sore throat, and it was Sunday. Yuck. I have been to the CVS MedClinic and Primary Care Center near Kroger previously and neither were worthy of return visits especially with kids.
So, we decided to try CorrectMed Pediatrics located next to the Ace Hardware on Scott Blvd. It is clean, bright, well equipped, the staff friendly and helpful - All of them (wow), professional. We were seen very quickly and the care great. They also have regular pediatric care hours and I would switch to them if I did not already have a 10 year history somewhere else.
I am so impressed (which I am rarely so inspired) that created this Yelp ID so I could review this company. I think it is in our communities' best interest to make this business successful because they are far and above the best urgent care I have found near Decatur for kids.
This will be our new go-to for any/all urgent care needs for our family. Last Friday my daughter got a deep splinter in the bottom of her foot that we couldn't get out. We immediately took her to CorrectMed and got in and out in under an hour.
Dr. Goo attended to her splinter and was able to gently work it out all in great humor.
The staff is incredibly polite, professional and experts with children. I felt well taken care of. I highly recommend this facility!
We went to the "urgent care" and were seen by an NP and Dr. Doyle. Dr. Doyle then went on to email back and forth with us the next day, as well as calling to check in. My daughter only had a virus, but I was so impressed by the care taken by the group and level of responsibility Dr. Doyle took for my child's care, even though she was not our primary care physician. She is now!!!!!! This group practices the way medicine should be. I only wish they had been around 4 years ago when we moved here!
After turning down two other pediatricians in the area, I was SO pleased to find Dr. Doyle with CorrectMed. The staff are very kind, the environment was super clean, and (most importantly), Dr. Doyle is amazing! She's got a fantastic bed side manner and is clearly passionate about the patient and the parents!
I highly recommend this practice if you want a family who cares taking care of your family!
We went to CorrectMed on a Sunday morning b/c we thought our daughter might have strep throat, and our regular pediatrician isn't open on the weekends. CorrectMed is both a regular pediatric practice as well as an urgent care center with extended hours. We saw Dr. Goo, who is an expert in pediatric emergency medicine. He took a great deal of time to get to know us as people before jumping into the medical stuff. I am even thinking about moving from our regular pediatrician to this practice. I'm so glad this option exists in Decatur - something in between a regular pediatrician's office and the ER. Many thanks to Dr. Goo and the rest of the staff!
My son had a fever for 3 days and we wanted to get him checked out. I am a nurse in a pediatric pulmonary clinic so I have very high expectations and rarely are they met! From the moment we walked in the door every person we came in contact with was professional and friendly. Great attitudes and helpful. The physician was knowledgeable and really listened. Not one to "over treat" when not necessary which is what I prefer. We will definitely go back!
My wife and I would like to highly recommend CorrectMed Pediatrics and more specifically Dr. Jessica Doyle. Dr. Doyle is exactly who every new (or experienced) parent would want taking care of their child. She is extremely competent and patient and has a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Doyle also goes above and beyond with timely and thoughtful responses to calls and emails. CorrectMed's new facility is modern, clean and convenient. Every staff member we have interacted with has been very polite and professional and we always feel like the entire practice is committed to providing our new son the best care possible. Although we have yet to utilize the urgent care side of CorrectMed, we have met Dr. Goo and feel confident that we are in good hands should any after hour or emergency situation arise. If you are looking for a new pediatrician I would absolutely encourage you to try Dr. Doyle and CorrectMed.

I highly want to recommend CorrectMed Pediatrics - Urgent & Primary Care Center on Scott Blvd. http://www.correctmed....
My husband and I are both physicians trained at Emory and we were both a little wary when we saw the new Pediatric Urgent Care center pop up on Scott Blvd. However, when our 3 year old was spiking fevers on Saturday night at 6pm we decided to try it out. We were impressed.
The nurse took us back within 5 minutes and Dr. Goo saw us a few minutes later. Dr. Goo was a Emory ER attending for 20 years and was WONDERFUL. Everything was efficient, well run, staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved that we just payed an office copay ($20) rather than a $150 ER copay.
We'll be back.
I am a local pediatrician. I took my daughter to CorrectMed because she was having a significant allergic reaction. Dr. Goo saw us immediately (less than a minute), treated my daughter quickly and correctly and was compassionate. CorrectMed is an incredible resource for Atlanta families. It is much faster and much less costly than an ER visit (CorrectMed only had a $25 co-pay!). Furthermore, my daughter was cared for by an ER physician with over 20 years of experience. We plan to use CorrectMed in the future and would recommend it to all of our friends.
I am a physician (pediatrician) and took my daughter to CorrectMed because she was having an allergic reaction. Dr. Goo immediately evaluated my daughter despite the fact that the office had just closed. He treated her immediately and correctly. Dr. Goo had a wonderful bedside manner, and was very clear in discussing his recommendations for my daughter. He never appeared to be rushed. His care was comprehensive, quick and effective. I highly recommend this practice and plan to take my children there for future issues. The wait time and copays are much less than visiting an ER. Plus, our daughter was cared for by a pediatric emergency medicine trained physician with 20+years of experience! Why would anyone take their child to be evaluated by someone who is not trained to take care of the pediatric population. Finally, parents in Atlanta have an urgent care service in the region dedicated to children. Thank you Dr. Goo.

CorrectMed is an excellent place to take the little ones when they are not feeling well or for a check-up. They treat everyone like family, and NOT like a number. Finally there is a primary care pediatrician that is open 7 days a week, and you don't have to sit there for an hour. Every time I have been there with or without an appointment, we saw the doctor in 15 minutes or less. I live a little further away, but will gladly make the trip to see Dr. Goo, who I trust to take carfe of my daughter.
I would just like to also highly recommend CorrectMed. I used to work with Dr. David Goo in the ER at Egleston and he not only is a fabulous physician who is capable of running a trauma room for critically ill patients, he also has the most fabulous bedside manner. His daughter (Dr. Jessica Doyle) runs the primary care portion of the office and Dr. Goo runs the urgent care center. I have already switched my children over to CorrectMed for their primary care and have loved it so far. Dr. Doyle, too, is so sweet, kind with children, and so smart.
I cannot say enough good things about this practice. They are a fabulous alternative to going to the ER for minor emergencies/after-hour/weekend needs. AND they have xray machinery onsite which is amazing---the very large pediatrics office that we used to take the kids to doesn't even have this! In addition, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for either urgent care or primary care visit there.
Highly, highly recommend!
Wanted to remind everyone of the new pediatric primary care/urgent care center on Scott Boulevard next to Intown Hardware. Yesterday, my 8 year old was miserable. We took her into CorrectMed and they fixed her up quickly with great personalized care and concern. They strive to charge just an office visit co-pay, so my out of pocket was very low. We have moved our primary care from our long term pediatric center (12 +years but which has become less and less personalized) to CorrectMed. I like these folks alot and want to see them succeed because they have a strong business model and their practice aligns well with my family's needs in today's changing medical environment. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
